Fight blood mites with the easy-to-use Refona Mite Booster®

Dutchy’s® are predatory mites, they have other mites as food on the menu. Depending on the circumstances, they can survive in an animal accommodation or terrarium meanwhile they feed themselves with the existing harmful mites. The predatory mite seeks his pray in all nooks and crannies of the animal cage. Dutchy’s® control blood mites in birds, pigeons, poultry, rodents, reptiles and parasitic mites in spiders.

The Mite Booster® system consists of a blue holder and a white cartridge. The holder can be attached to a cage or aviary. The cartridge is filled with Dutchy’s® (predatory mites) and can be easily slid into the holder. The Dutchy’s leave the Mite Booster through a little hole in the cartridge and go in search for blood mites. Inside the cartridge the humidity is optimal for the development of the predatory mites.

Birds:

Breeding cage 40 x 40 cm                           1 Holder per 8 cages
Breeding cage 80 x 40 cm                           1 Holder per 4 cages
Breeding cage 120 x 60 cm                         1 holder per 2 cages
Aviaries                                                        1 Holder per M² sleeping aria

Chickens:
Night shelters up to 1 M² you need 3 cartridges per night shelter. For larger shelters you need 1 extra cartridge for every extra M².
